Martin Jarvis – Lifetime Achievement Award
The hugely talented and utterly wonderful Martin Jarvis has been honoured at the BBC Audio Drama Awards where he was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award, celebrating a prolific career both behind the microphone and in the booth. Once dubbed ‘the man with the golden microphone’ Martin’s voice is synonymous with so many classics – from Dickens to Fleming, and from the immutable Jeeves to the ever so cheeky Just William. We all know and love his voice. We could not think of a more deserving recipient!
