Olivier Awards Nominations 2017
Congratulations to all our creatives who contributed to this years Olivier Awards Nominated shows.
Phelim McDermott is the director of Akhnaten, nominated for Best New Opera Production.
Peter Pan at the National Theatre with costume design from Katie Sykes is nominated for Best Family and Entertainment.
The Government Inspector is nominated for Outstanding Achievement in an Affiliate Theatre with movement direction from Ayse Tashkiran, video design by Timothy Bird and lighting design by Chahine Yavroyan.
Nominated in the same category is Cuttin’ It at the Young Vic, with design from Joanna Scotcher.
Also at the Young Vic is Yerma, with design by Lizzie Clachan, nominated in 3 categories including Best Revival.
At the Old Vic, Groundhog Day, with video design from Andrzej Goulding, has a staggering 8 nominations including Best New Musical.
Winners will be announced on 9th April.
